A Century of Pink Palace Elegance: Celebrate 100 Years of The Royal Hawaiian

On February 1, 1927, The Royal Hawaiian first welcomed guests to Waikiki. A century later, we invite you to become part of our next chapter.

To mark our 100th anniversary on February 1, 2027, we're bringing together exceptional dining, cultural traditions, music and cherished stories for a celebration worthy of the Pink Palace of the Pacific. Beginning January 25, our centennial festivities will honor the people and experiences that have shaped our resort, while creating new memories along Waikiki Beach.

Begin the Celebration With Hawaiian Culture and History

Our anniversary celebrations begin on Monday, January 25, 2027, with the acclaimed Ahaaina Luau and the opening of a time capsule exhibit in our Historic Gallery.

Throughout the festivities, historic tours, retail sip 'n shop offerings and additional experiences invite you to explore our resort's enduring connection to Waikiki. Whether you're returning to a place filled with personal memories or discovering the Pink Palace for the first time, our centennial offers a special opportunity to experience its heritage.
